Account Information Updates
We are happy you joined us for your weight loss journey! With this email, you have a link to our discharge instructions, protocols, and injection guidelines.
Please remember a few things about our services:
- Your medicines will be entered into the pharmacy portal at close of business the day of your appointment.
- The pharmacy has a 5-7 business day turnaround time. We will enter your email address into the order for telemedicine visits and they will send you updates regarding your shipment from the moment they create a label to the time it arrives at your door. The pharmacy DOES NOT SHIP on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. These days are excluded from the 5-7 day window for delivery.
- If you are on Semaglutide and starting as a new patient, we will keep you at the maintenance dose of 0.5 mg for at least 3 months before increasing the dose. You will need to call or text to discuss a dosage increase or make the request using the Account Change form on our website. We do not raise the dose automatically because 80% of patients continue to lose weight without increasing the dose in a safe, slow steady fashion – which is what you want! We do not want rapid drops in weight as it leads to unf lattering skin changes.
- If you are on Tirzepatide and starting as a new patient, we will immediately raise the next dose to 5 mg at your second order. There is no need to call UNLESS you want to stay at 2.5 mg. Each month thereafter, we will text you for an update and to determine if a dosing change is needed. Once you are at 10 mg, we will order 10 mg monthly.
- Auto-renew is a feature we require to guarantee there is no delay in medication delivery and ordering. It is not contractual. If you are on Tirzepatide you will be set up to rebill approximately 21 days from your visit (on the nearest bill date to that time – the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st, or 28th of the month). If you are on Semaglutide you will be set up 30 days from your appointment to the closest bill date. We bill once a week.
Example: Appt. is September 27, autorenew for Tirzepatide would be set for October 14th and the 14th of every month after until canceled. For Semaglutide patients with an appointment September 27th, the auto-renew would be set for October 28th, and the 28th of every month thereafter until canceled.
- To cancel your auto-renew (all patients), please use the Account Change Form located on our website or text the office at 225.444.5064 and it will be sent to you. There is NO contract or penalty to cancel. We just ask that you cancel BEFORE your bill date. All account changes need to occur by close of business the day before your bill date; this includes: address changes for shipping, dosage requests if necessary, change in bill date, and all other account changes. Our commitment is a no hassle process in order to help you successfully lose weight! All we ask is that you cancel before your bill date.
If at any time you have questions or concerns, please call the office or text us at 225.444.5064 and a Unique Physique team member or a clinician will respond as quickly as possible. The texting platform is secure and specific for patient use.
Please review all discharge instructions by going to our website using this link: https://www.uniquephysique.com/patient-resources
Please note there is a wealth of knowledge on our website under “patient resources” regarding our protocols, how to draw up medication from a vial, healthy snacks, what to do in a “weight loss stall,” etc.
It is the patient’s responsibility to read the label on their medication in its entirety. These are your dosing instructions. Do not use instructions on our example photos, instructions from other patients, or instructions from other clinics or pharmacies. Each prescription is written specifically for the patient intended. If you feel that there is an error in the written instructions, please contact the office BEFORE injecting. Any mistakes in injections resulting from failure to read the instructions correctly or call the office to clarify, will result in an additional medication charge if more medication must be dispensed/ordered. Please remember this is PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE and should be taken as instructed by the prescribing clinician. Patients are not allowed to self-medicate or raise their dose of medication without approval from a clinician.
A note about dosage adjustments:
Unique Physique will evaluate all dosage increases from patients; however, patients who are not ordering medicines monthly are not considered to be using the medicine at its standard dosing to meet maximum benefits will not qualify for a dosage increase.
A patient will need to be on the current dose for three consecutive months – with matching prescriptions filled at Unique Physique – to be considered for a dosage increase. Unique Physique highly advises patients against self-dosing and using other patients’ medications. If the patient has been using medication provided from their physician or another clinic, they will need to provide proof of that RX in their name to document dosing. If a patient is spacing out their medicine longer than every 7 days, they will be advised to return to 7 day dosing before a dosing increase can be considered.
If you need to make any changes to your account (change your card, address, request a dose adjustment when appropriate) – please use the Patient Account Change Form located on our website. We ask that you communicate all changes via this webform so that it is documented appropriately and we are not dependent on verbal conversations which can often result in mistakes or error.
